These next two weeks I will not be posting a chart. Instead, in September I will be starting to post three charts weekly. The Quaker style animals, the winter charts that I create with all your works, and two special designs (plus the assembling instructions for one of them) that I created for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Estas proximas dos semanas no habra esquemas. En su lugar en Septiembre pondre tres esquemas semanalmente. Los animalitos estilo Quaker, los esquemas de navidad que cree con la ayuda de sus palabras, y dos disenos que cree especialmente para el mes de crear Conciencia Acerca del Cancer de Mama.
 I received my JCS Magazine and this month it has a Halloween Special inside. I was “forced” by the magazine to stitch at least one of the charts immediately LOL. Here it is. I have plans to stitch at least four more designs. JCS is always wonderful but this edition is perfect!!
Recibi mi revista de Just Cross Stitch que este mes trae un special de halloween. La revista me “forzo” a bordar al menos uno de los esquemas inmediatamente. Tengo planes de al menos bordar 4 mas. JCS es una revista que me encanta y este mes no trae desperdicio!!

The other thing that I stitched was Trellis from The Workbasket. Otra cosa que borde fue Trellis de The Workbasket 

I love the design and it was a pleasure to stitch it. In less than two weeks it was done!! Adoro el diseño y fue un placer bordarlo. En menos de dos semanas estuvo listo!!

I also stitched a biscornu for a swap in Brooke’s Books Interactive Group. I still need to assemble it and when the person that I will send it to receive it, I will post the picture and the chart.
Tambien borde un biscornu para un swap en Brooke’s Books Interactive Group . Aun necesito armarlo y cuando la persona a la que me toca enviar lo reciva pondre la foto y el esquema

My last week progress and Pictures!!

My week was slow in stitches but productive by itself. I just stitched this little chart from The Cricket Collection; Why is it?

 Mi semana fue lenta en puntadas, pero productiva al mismo tiempo. Solo borde este pequeno modelo de The Cricket Collection, Why is it?

I said that it was productive because among other things, I decided to go on diet and I started this Sunday. But it’s not a weight loss diet is a stash diet!! I realized that I’m buying so much stuff and finding so marvelous freebies on the web, that I expend my time on the internet shopping or downloading freebies instead of reducing my to do list. I started on Monday stitching stuff that I already have and made the commitment to myself, the only thing I will buy is floss if I really need it. Wish me luck!!
Digo que fue productiva porque entre otras cosas decidi ponerme a dieta y la empece el domingo, pero no para bajar de peso, es una dieta para reducir mi stash. Me he dado cuenta que estoy comprando mucho y encontrando tantos freebies maravillosos en la web que gasto mas tiempo en internet comprando o descargando freebies que bordando. El lunes ya comence a bordar cosas que ya tengo y me hice el compromiso a mi misma que solo comprare hilos si realmente los necesito. Deseenme suerte!!

A productive week

This has been a good week. Since my kids are on vacation, my stitching time has been reduced substantially. I don’t know exactly what happened but this week I made big progress in my to do list,
I finished my July-August Papillon SAL
Esta semana fue buena Desde que los peques estan de vacaciones mi tiempo para bordar se ha reducido drasticamente. No se que paso exactamente, pero esta semana tuve progresos en mi lista de cosas por hacer!!
Termine la entrega de Julio Agosto del SAL de Papillon

Stitched this freebie from Piecework Magazine (don’t miss the pincushion contest pictures of this month’s edition).
I substituted the letter for one of the medallions that came in the back and put my older Son’s initial (he pass away 10 years ago on the 30th he would be15 years old)
Borde este freebie de Piecework Magazine, sustitui las letras por uno de los medallones que van en la parte de atras y puse la inicial de mi hijo mayor (Fallecio hace 10 años y el 30 de este mes habria cumplido15 años)

I made the doves from today’s chart and made the squirrel

With a box of tea, scrapbook paper, and a little of fabric made this box for my lavender
Con una caja de te, papel de scrapbook (lo siento no se como se dice en castellano) y un poco de tela hice esta caja para guardar mi lavanda

Pinkeep contest

In April my girls from the forum participated in a pinkeep contest. Here are the winners and their prizes. I did not post before because I was waiting until the winners received their package.
En abril las chicas de mi foro participaron en un concurso de pinkeeps. Aca estan las ganadoras y sus premios. No pusu el post antes porque queria que todas recibieran su paquete antes de publicar

First Prize was Lolo  from Venezuela. Primer Lugar Lolo de Venezuela

She stitched a chart from Maria del Valle in Alarttex, as a personal touch she changed the stitches that represent the flowers for beads.

Here is her prize, I was worried because it took a long time in transit but finally after two months she received it. I added as a personal gift a bookmark stitched with the Danish Method and a pewter thimble.
Aca esta su premio, estaba preocupada porque tomo mucho tiempo en correo, pero al fin dos meses despues ya esta con ella. Como regalo personal anadi un marcalibros bordado en metodo danes y un dedal de pewter

Second place was for Jemima from Peru. She use a Frimousse chart using ribbon instead of cross stitch for the flowers
Segundo Lugar fue Jemima de Peru. ella bordo un esquema de Frimousse utilizando para las flores cintas  en lugar de punto de cruz

Jemima is also one of the managers of my group as well as a really dear friend. I added in her package and Altoid tin with a scissor and on top something that she loves… Turtles!!
Jemima es tambien una de las administradoras de mi foro, asi como una amiga muy querida. En su paquete agregue una latita  de altoids hecha guardatijeras y en la tapa bordado algo que ella ama… Tortugas!!

Third place was Karyne from Colombia. Tercer Lugar fue Karyne de Colombia
