Mary W Week 3
It’s now officially done!! 33% of the chart is stitched and I’m waiting to download part 4!!!
Ahora si termine mi tercera parte!!
I have been making some adjustments, I like certain asymmetry in the medallions, but some of them are too much for me, since I’m not making a reproduction, ( I already changed all the colors) I “corrected” some of them, others I just left them that way. If you want to do the same thing in yours, you can save some time by visiting Jen’s, which she kindly posts regularly her own corrections of the medallions.
He hecho algunos cambios.
Another big change that I made was changing the initials. I’m using my family’s instead. Up until today I have on it my parents, my DH Parents, and my kids. Inside the medallion I put my oldest son’s who passed away eleven years ago when he was 5.
Are you stitching Mary?

I decided not to stitch this but I am loving the pictures of your progress. So pretty and you are such a quick stitcher!
Te está quedando un bordado precioso.
Bss.
Besos.
Aury,
Your progress is impressive!
Precioso trabajo. Muchos besitos.
You are doing GREAT! Love your colors!
You are such a fast stitcher!
I just started and not to the initials yet, but plan on doing my family also. It is sweet you had a special place to put your sons! I also lost my fist born. He was 6 years old. Lost him in 1989. I can say as years go by it gets easier. But I still miss him all the time.
You are doing a wonderful job! And you have a very nice blog!
Eliza
Beautiful progress and I like your idea of incorporating
your family’s initial.
I haven’t started mine yet (altho I have parts 1-4 downloaded) and I too was going to make the initials those of my family. I hope there are enough; I have one husband, four children, their spouses and 10+ of their offspring to include. In addition, there are my parents, my parents-in-law, one brother, one brother and sister in law, and a niece and two nephews.
I guess we are somehow tuned in through our needles and thread.
I also like your choice of colors so far.
Thanks for your comments!!!
Edy, I have plans to stitch my family initials, but I’m pretty sure it will be a different number of letters than the original chart. I’m adding first parents and grand parents and after that I will be adding until they look similar
