Mary W - week 4

I received some comments that I’m discouraging people with my “fast stitching”. I really hope this is not true!!! I stitch fast because I have nothing else to do so I dedicate a lot of my time stitching. I’m not looking this as a competition or that someone will be a winner (or better as one mail said) if finish it faster. Each persons has her/his own rhythm and enjoy doing it that way. Stitching for me is more than a hobby, it helps me to pass difficult moments and allow me to create beautiful things and memories of them.
He recibido algunos mail acerca de que estoy desmotivando gente con mi “rapidez al bordar” Realmente espero eso no sea cierto!! Yo bordo rapido porque no tengo mas nada que hacer asi qyue dedico una gran parte de mi tiempo al bordado. Yo no veo esto como una competencia o que alguien sera ganador ( o mejor como me dicen en un mail) si termina antes. Cada persona tiene su propio ritmo y disfruta haciendolo de esa manera. Bordar es para mi mas que un hobby, me ayuda a pasar momentos dificiles y me permite crear cosas y recuerdos lindos de esos tiempos no tan faciles.

Going back to Mary, each day I’m more in love with this chart.  I have been personalizing it not just with the colors but also the initials for my family members,  the flowers that go in the blue medallions will be substituted by one of my little creatures, I want them to be part this too. I’m following Jaqueline’s Sugestion and I’m doing a little biography to insert in the back of the framing. I’m making a scrapbook with pictures and a little about me, I’m pretty bad doing the last part, so it will be literally a little!!

Volviendo a Mary, Cada dia esto mas enamorada de esta pieza. La he ido personalizando no solo con los colores sino tambien con las letras que hora son iniciales de miembros de mi familia, las flores que van en el medallon azul seran sustituidas por una de mis pequeñas criaturas, yo quiero que ellas sean tambien parte de mi tela. estoy siguiendo la sugerencia de Jaqueline y estoy haciendo una mini scrapbook con fotos de mis progresos y algo acerca de mi, soy bastante mala para escribir acerca de mi asi que esa parte sera muy chica!!
