Lets start this week with a novelty, if you look at the top of the page you’ll see that I made a Blogger’s Calendar. This month you can find blogs from some of the girls in my forum and other friends blogs. Starting next month, everyday the calendar will send you to blogs that show and/or offer something special. March will be tutorials

This week I started Spring Stitches
Esta semana empece a bordar Spring Stitches
I love Jeannette Douglas designs, they are not only harmonious but also their explanations are so clear that even with the stitches that you regularly don’t use you can’t mess up on. As you can see the piece of fabric is a lot bigger than the chart, It’s because my plan is to stitch the four seasons all in the same cloth.
Adoro los diseños de Jeannette Douglas no solo por su armonia sino porque sus explicaciones son muy detalladas y tan claras que aun cuando a veces sean puntos que no utilices comunmente es dificil te equivoques. Como puedes ver la pieza de tela es mucho mas grande que el diseño, esto es porque mi plan es bordar las cuatro estaciones en el mismo paño
I also did some of my Quaker Sampler in Red.
Tambien borde algo de mi Quaker Sampler in Red.
It’s a really lovely piece, easy to stitch, and with the character which made me fall in love with Quaker designs. I am stitching it in my favorite shade of red and make the labor even more enjoyable

Let’s continue with the ABC Series, this time B as a Bird, I designed them to fit in a Charles Craft Baby Alphabet Afghan, just in case you want to stitch it in the same way that I’m doing it. Next letter will be available in February

Also, Vikki’s mail came today. I got a thread that I needed to finish the Quaker Bell pull. I’m glad to say that it is finished apart for framing.

I also got a few silk spools. I won two of them in her December Bingo. She was so nice that when several of us made bingo on the same day she gave everyone who didn’t win a prize two silk spools.Thank you again Vikki!
Tambien recibi unas cuantas bobinas. Dos de ellas me las gane en el Bingo de Diciembre. Fue un lindo gesto de ella que cuando varias cantamos bingo al mismo dia, las que no ganamos premio nos regalo dos bobinas. Gracias de nuevo Vikki!!!
But what made my day even better was the mail I got a surprise. Look at what Maria del Valle gave me.

My plans for this weekend are to finish Jemi’s SAL ornament, and the two sides of needlebook for the accessory set SAL.
