This weekend I didn’t stitch much, just a little on the Serendipity piece (finally!!) but not enough to be noticed. I was organizing my room and assembling the gift for my forum’s exchange as well as making some tutorials for my girl’s forum (that I will be offering in the next couple of days). What I did that I can show you is the finals touches for one of my reindeers (they are 5 and all will be in the same chart with a slide … any idea for the theme? LOL). I’m offering this chart today as an special request. Becky, I hope you like it
Este fin, no borde mucho, solo un poco en el marco de Serendipity (al fin!!) pero no es lo suficiente como para que se note. Estuve organizando mi cuarto y montando el regalo para el intercambio de mi foro asi como haciendo algunos tutoriales que les estare ofreciendo a las nenas de mi foro en los proximos dias. Lo que hice que les puedo mostrar es dar los toques finales a uno de mis renos (son 5 y estaran todos en el mismo esquema con un trineo, alguna idea de cual sera el tema ? jijiji). Yesterday I stitched more than half of the chart for Jemima s Ornament SAL.

The design is a freebie from Debbie Draper and you can find it here. In my version I used HDF silk and Graziano Rivera Linen 28ct. I am so happy to have ordered this special spool, the colors are amazing. I designed a 4 seasons Quaker Style and I will surely use this thread for fall.

I’ll be using Aida 16 ct, it will be a little bigger than the original and some of my “difficult size” scissors will fit perfectly
Estare usando aida 16 ct. va a quedar un poco mas grande que el tamaño sugerido, asi algunas de mis tijeras de “tamaño dificil” cabran perfectamente.

When I was stiching it I changed the color of the “fruit”, that the Toucan has in its beak, for a Variegated thread that came in one of my D-bags from Vikki. I don’t know the code or name for this color, but if you happens to know it please let me know I want to buy some!!
