Grand Marquoir

I started a new project yesterday, my plan is to stitch 1 block per week so my “stitching schedule” will not suffer, but I’ll still be able to stitch something designed by somebody else. I’ll be working on Gran Marquoir by Isabelle Vautier, but it will not be red, I’ll be using 32 colors instead.  Here is week 1

You can find the Grand Marquoir parts on Isabelle’s site (2008 posts)

A Gobble Couple - George and Martha Gobbleton

My friend Gwen model stitched the chart using Crescent Colours instead of DMC, and I loooove the way they look!!

A Trip to the Store - Take 2

My next store is Just Stitching in Strongsville, OH

Shelly (the owner) is an incredible lady, always with a smile and knowledge about what she carries or where to find it.

The size of the store is great and you can pick up free charts all around, she also sells the materials that you need as a kit for those moments that you want something fast to stitch! I found a couple of my freebies there!

Each time that I go. I end up with a ton of new ideas, free charts, some kits and tons of goodies. I had a mini trunkshow early this month and my Heritage Sampler along with Medallion 1 (the originals stitched by Linda) are exhibited there at this moment.

If you pass through Strongsville  make a stop at JS I can’t promise it will be short (mine never are) but it will be great!
