Federico Chiesa doesn’t interest in joining Liverpool

Italian journalist Niccolo Cechcarini has revealed that Federico Chiesa doesn’t interest in joining Liverpool in order to stay at Juventus.

         The 24-year-old has joined Juventus on a two-year loan from 2020. With a first-year loan of €3 million and a second-year loan of €7 million. That with an option to buy at €40 million plus another 10 million euros

         Chiesa has attracted interest from clubs outside Italy. Especially in England, where Cechcarini revealed the Reds had agreed a fee with Fiorentina. But the player refused to move in Anfield.

         “Fiorentina An agreement with Liverpool was reached for a fee of 70 million euros (60 million pounds). But the negotiations were carried out. Because the player wanted to go to Juventus,” Cechcarini told RTV38.

         Chiesa, who has 17 goals and 13 assists in 59 games in all competitions for Juventus. He was a key figure in the Italy squad that won Euro 2020 mid-year.

A move to Juventus beckoned and I Bianconeri went on to secure Chiesa on a two year loan deal.

Chiesa has posted some very impressive numbers in his debut season at Juventus, playing 30 times in Serie A, scoring eight goals and registering a further eight assists. 

He also scored in 50% of the Old Lady’s games in the Champions League last season in his eight appearances.
