Jurgen Klopp is confident in new Liverpool boss Arne Slot ability to lead the team to success after seeing his performance in pre-season and the opening game of the Premier League.

    The Dutchman replaced Klopp amid concerns from fans that he would be able to carry the team as well as before, but his performances in pre-season and the opening game win at Ipswich impressed Klopp, who was even willing to praise him for his ability to carry the team forward.
