Thomas Tuchel has agreed a deal to become the new England manager, according to reports from several leading media outlets across the country.

The 51-year-old German will replace Gareth Southgate as the Three Lions’ new permanent manager, who stepped down in the summer after their shock Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain.
He is expect to fly to England this week to complete the appointment process.
The former Chelsea boss will become the third non-English manager to take over at the Three Lions and the first since Fabio Capello left in 2012.
A press conference to announce his appointment is expect to be held at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, with FA chief executive Mark Bullingham in attendance.
The FA has considered a number of candidates, including Pep Guardiola and Eddie Howe, for the England manager’s job, with Lee Carsley currently in the caretaker role.
However, talks between Tuchel and the FA progressed quickly on Tuesday.
Tuchel’s history is impressive, with multiple league UFABET titles with PSG and Bayern Munich, as well as the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup with Chelsea.
Known for his progressive football, Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard at Chelsea in January 2021 and led them to the Champions League title that season, beating Manchester City in the final.
Lee Carsley, England’s under-21 manager, has been in temporary charge since the resignation of Gareth Southgate after England’s defeat by Spain in the Euro 2024 final in July.
Carsley had looked the favourite to land the role on a full-time basis but a shambolic home defeat by Greece in the Nations League on Thursday appears to have undermined his chances.
